Mail-In Repairs by Post
Too far from Bishopbriggs to pop in? Send your device to us. Same technicians, same free diagnostics, same no fix, no fee — just by post.
How mail-in repair works
- Contact us first. Tell us the device and the fault so we can check parts and confirm we can help before you post anything.
- We send packing and postage guidance. We'll confirm the return address, how to pack it and what postage costs.
- Back up your data if the device still powers on. If it doesn't, tell us — we'll handle it accordingly.
- Package it securely. Padded box, device wrapped, no loose accessories unless we've asked for them. Remove SIM and memory cards.
- Send it tracked and insured. Always use a tracked service so both of us can follow it.
- Free diagnosis and quote. We inspect it on arrival and message you with what's wrong and what it costs.
- You approve before we start. No paid work happens without your say-so.
- Repair and testing. We fix it and test it properly before it goes anywhere.
- Tracked return. We pack it carefully and send it back tracked, and give you the tracking number.
Costs and honesty
Diagnostics are free and we work on no fix, no fee. Postage is chargeable and confirmed with you before you book in, so there are no surprises. We won't quote a blanket turnaround time — how long a mail-in repair takes depends on postal times, the fault and part availability, and we'll give you a realistic estimate once we've seen the device.
Standard repairs carry our 12-month warranty. Liquid damage repairs are excluded because corrosion can keep developing after cleaning — see our liquid damage page for how we handle those.
Your data
We don't go through your files. We only ask for a passcode when the repair genuinely needs testing inside the device, and we'll tell you why. Back up first wherever you can. If the device won't start, ask us about data recovery.
Local to Glasgow? You may not need the post at all — we offer pickup and drop-off, or just visit the shop in Bishopbriggs.

Is postage free?
No — postage is chargeable and we confirm the cost with you before you book in, so you know the full picture up front.
What if you can't fix it?
